Our Love to Admire


I've been listening to the new Interpol a lot this week (thanks Kirt). So far, Rest My Chemistry is the standout track. In fact, I would say it is the best song of 2007 so far. Interpol and Calla are playing at the Orbit Room on July 27. I bought tickets but I think I might have clicked on the Staind link instead of Interpol.

Patriot's Race

I ran my first 5K this morning. The Patriot's Race in Grand Haven. Here I am totally kicking Dug's ass. I came in at 28:49 and he was way behind at 28:50. The girl behind us was wearing a Grand Haven Cross County t-shirt, so it was enjoyable passing her. Cory finished in about 15 minutes of course. I also had a nice conversation in the woods section of the course with a couple of 10 year olds about what we should do if wolves chase us.
